Life Coaching

Coaching is no longer limited to the domains of professional sport and business success. People seek support moving through situations in all corners of life.

Life coaching can explore many different topics and issues. The process helps uncover deeper patterns that may be holding you back from happiness or success.

Topics that regularly come up include:

Balance & Well-being

Purpose

Identity

Life Direction

Navigating Transitions

BALANCE

How do you look after you?

Balance is one of those essential life skills we were never taught at school. Our modern lives require so much of us that it's hard to give the right attention to our many competing demands. Often, the first thing to go is self-care.

Phrases like work-life balance aren't really all that helpful, and in the end it's easy to feel judged or like one has failed in not striking the "perfect" balance (hint: there is none).

I have a specific process to help define what is most important for you. It puts you in the driver's seat and helps to find your own sense of balance in life.

PURPOSE

 What is your why?

A sense of purpose is what helps us get out of bed in the morning. It gives us a reason for why we are here and keeps us motivated to move into action.

One's purpose changes as we move through various stages of life.

Purpose doesn't mean changing the world (although that's cool too). Often there is a lot of social expectation around having a purpose. I can help you strip that back and identify what's most important to you.

IDENTITY

Who are you?

Identity is just a fancy word for how you express yourself in the world.

Although social media puts the pressure on to define our "one true self," the reality is that we show up in different ways in different contexts. And this is healthy!

Having a strong sense of self means understanding our values, strengths, and talents. Knowing this provides a strong rudder for navigating our way through the world and life.

DIRECTION

Where do you want to be?

Your direction and goals will likely change as you move through life and this is healthy. Gaining a sense of where you want to be is powerful in making choices and setting up a life of happiness and success.

Coaching helps to step back from the noise and connect deeply with what's important. There are even times in life where an unclear direction can be healthy and helpful too. These chapters help us be open to new experiences and keep a sense of curiosity and openness.

TRANSITIONS

Navigating life changes

Life gets hard and we will inevitably move through different transitions and chapters as we go through each decade.
Transitions can begin with an experience of loss, which can include relationships, jobs, the death of a loved one, or any kind of ending.
When navigated well, life changes can be immense opportunities for self-discovery. If this resonates with you, I'd love to share a creative approach to navigating major life changes.
